Mr. Alex Sconziano

 Physical Education/Health

Alex graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with degrees of Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health Education and a Master of Science in Physical Education. He went on to earn his Sixth Year Certificate in Administration from Sacred Heart University in 2005. Alex has been teaching Physical Education and Health Education at Thomaston High School since 1998.

In addition, Alex coached the high school baseball team for nine years as well as the girls JV basketball team for three years. He served as Athletic Director of THS for five years, and once again holds this position. Alex was elected to the Wolcott Circle of Sports Hall of Fame in 2007. He currently resides in Wolcott with his wife Lori and two sons, Nicolas and Joseph.
