District Information

Directions to Thomaston High School


From Points North: 

Take Route 8 South to Exit 38. At the end of the ramp, continue straight through the stop light (Route 6 West). Approx. 1/4 mile ahead on the right, bear right onto Rt. 109 West (before the next stop light). The high school will be ahead on your left.


From Points East:

Take Route 6 West toward Thomaston. Turn left onto Route 8 South. Take Exit 38 and follow directions from above.


From Points South:

Take Route 8 North to Exit 38. At the end of the ramp turn left, going under the highway to the first stop light. Turn left at the light onto Pine Hill Rd. At the end of the road, turn left onto Route 6 West. Immediately bear right onto Route 109 West (before the stop light). The high school will be ahead on your left.

Directions to Athletic Facilities (off-campus)


Tennis Courts (Center School):

From Route 8, take Exit 39 (Route 6). Travel West into Thomaston on East Main Street. Continue through the stop light near the green (with the gazebo). Take your first right at the Adams IGA onto High St. The courts will be on your left behind the Center School.


Highwood Farms (Soccer Fields): 

Same directions as Tennis Courts, except continue up High St. until the stop sign. At the end of the road, turn right onto High St. Ext. Continue approx. 1/4 mile and turn left at Thompson Terr. (entrance to Highwood Farms). The soccer field will be straight ahead approx. 200 yards.


Nystroms Park (Soccer Fields, Track and Field, and Tennis):

Take 109 (Branch Road) east from the high school, turn right onto Old Northfield road and then immediately left onto Babbit Road. Nystroms Park is approximately one mile up the hill on the corner of Babbit and Hickory Hill. 


Black Rock State Park (Cross Country course):

Same directions as to the High School, however do not bear right onto Route 109. Instead continue traveling on Route 6 West through the stop light. The entrance to Black Rock State Park will be on the right as you pass the Watertown Town Line.
