arriving at Thomaston

BUSES FOR VISITING TEAMS CAN DROP OFF ATHLETES OUTSIDE THE GYMNASIUM BY TURNING LEFT at the driveway. BUSES SHOULD THEN PARK to the right of the large pine tree or in the rear parking lot (yellow star).

PARKING  IS AVAILABLE IN THE SMALL LOT OUTSIDE THE GYM (TURN LEFT AT THE DRIVEWAY). OVERFLOW (SECONDARY) PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT THE REAR OF THE SCHOOL. (FOLLOW DRIVEWAY TO THE REAR PARING LOT). Do not park illegally — the fire marshal and police regularly patrol, and you will be ticketed or towed.

All attendees  should enter through the gym doors. Once the upper parking lot is filled, the cafeteria doors will be opened for those that park in the secondary parking area.

VISITING TEAM LOGISTICS

Visiting teams will be met in the gym lobby by the site director. a locker room (inside the gym) will be provided for teams as needed. Thomaston has an athletic trainer on site, but visiting teams should bring their own medical kits, tape, etc.

For basketball games, there will be a minimum of 15 minutes to warm up for varsity after the conclusion of jv. prior to varsity games, teams will assemble on the court for the national anthem followed by starting lineups.

Concessions are sold at most Thomaston athletics events at the gym. At basketball games, concessions are available in the gym lobby.
