Mr. Dave Vecca

Assistant Principal

Dave has been in education for the past 18 years. Dave earned his bachelor's degree in History at UCONN, a Master’s in Education from the University of Bridgeport, and a 6th Year / 092 in Educational Leadership from Southern Connecticut State University. He started out as a History Teacher in Waterbury, Connecticut and taught in Waterbury for 11 years. In his 12th year, he was hired as a History Teacher / Department Chair for Oxford Public School. He later became Oxford Public Schools Coordinator of StudentConduct.

Outside education, Dave’s passion revolves around spending time with his family, music, and sports. He has played guitar since he was a kid and loves attending concerts. He is a huge Boston Red Sox and New York Giants fan. Mr. Vecca resides in Woodbury, CT with his wife Pamela, his daughter Madison (9), and their dog Teddy.
