Ms. Diana Martinik

 Paraprofessional

Diana has been a resident of Thomaston for twenty-four years. She began her work at Thomaston Center School in February of 2000. Diana started as a lunch monitor at TCS, where she was responsible for accompanying students to and from lunch and recess. After a few years, Diana completed the Paraprofessional Praxis test to prepare for her new role of helping students succeed academically in the classroom, and socially with their peers. Also, Diana completed training in Restorative Practices, and she has taken great pride in seeing the PATHS students reach their full potential. Diana has been married for thirty-seven years; she has two children and two grandchildren. Both of her children graduated from Thomaston High School. In Diana’s spare time, she loves spending time with her family, playing with her grandchildren, camping, dancing and making people laugh.
