Mr. James Newton
Physics
James began teaching in 2006 and joined Thomaston High School in 2021. He currently teaches Physics, Robotics, and a Scientific Research course.
James graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2002 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, completed the Connecticut ARC program in 2006, and completed a M.S. program in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine in 2016.
James is passionate about advances in alternative energy, innovations in home design/construction, and humans' interaction with their environment. When not at THS James can be found building or fixing something and enjoying time with his wife and three young boys.
