Mrs. Jennifer Dietter

English/Language Arts (Grade 7)

 Jennifer graduated from St. Joseph College in West Hartford with her Bachelors of Arts degree in Art History and Elementary Education. She earned her Masters of Science in Reading/Language Arts and her 6th Year degree in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University. Jennifer started her career in Bristol teaching first grade and most recently taught in Region One teaching middle school English Language Arts. This is Jennifer’s first year at Thomaston High School and she is excited to be a part of the team.

Jennifer is an avid reader of Young Adult novels and can often be found in her local public library checking out the new books in the stacks. In her spare time she enjoys making memories with her husband (Jason), two teenage sons (Jack/Jett) and her four cats watching Netflix, playing board games, traveling to historical sites, and visiting local ice cream shops. She adores sloths. One of her most exciting moments was meeting and feeding, Romeo the Sloth, at the CT Science Center during the summer of 2023.
