Mrs. Jennifer Ewart

Physical Education/Health

 Jennifer went to Central CT State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with a cross-endorsement in Health Education in 2006 and a Master of Science in Physical Education and Human Performances in 2010. Jennifer earned a scholarship to play Division I soccer and was inducted into the CCSU Hall of Fame along with her teammates in 2016. She recently received certification in teaching the UConn ECE Kinesiology course offered at Thomaston High School.

 She has been teaching Physical Education and Health Education at Thomaston High School since the 2006-2007 school year. In addition to teaching, Jennifer is the head coach of varsity girls soccer and advisor of the Hiking Club. She is a member of the Advisory and Culture Committee and serves as the Advisory Coordinator. Jennifer was recognized as the 2024-2025 TPS Teacher of the Year. She lives in Southington, CT with her husband, two children, and 2 year old dog.
