Mrs. Michelle Dayton

Digital Media Specialist

 Michelle received her undergraduate degree in Sociology at Central Connecticut State University and her graduate degree and Mr certification at Southern Connecticut State University. She is a certified Library Media Specialist with a concentration on instructional technology for her sixth year degree. She had been the Media Specialist for Thomaston High School for fourteen years and now teaches Desktop Publishing, Digital Arts, Digital Media and Digital Age Experience courses.

Michelle is currently the Career and Technical Education Coordinator, Senior Class Advisor, Co-Chairperson New England Association of Schools and Colleges committee, Culture Committee chairperson, and Communications Coordinator. Michelle is also the adviser for the student environmental organization, Student Alliance for a Greener Earth (S.A.G.E), Yearbook, and Film Club.

Michelle and her husband have two children and live in Thomaston. She loves to cook, decorate and renovate her home, gardening, movies, concerts and travel.
