Ms. Nancy Stancavage

Registered Nurse

Nancy has served as School Nurse since 2018. Nancy attended Post University on a full scholarship as a pitcher for fast-pitch softball and field hockey, and Mattatuck Community College. She has been a registered nurse for 33 years and has held a multitude of positions ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics and psychiatrics. She holds certifications in infection control, safety, and wound care. She is a veteran of the United States Air Force where she spent a year in California and three years in England. Before nursing she dreamed of being either a singer in a band or a comedian. After a stint with the Navy Seals, she realized that was not challenging enough and thought school nursing would be much more challenging (kidding). She is married to Matt and has two boys; Mac is working towards a Master’s Degree at UCONN and Dan is a senior at Wamogo Sheloves to workout and stay active, and she spends her free time on their boat, at their cottage in Maine or at their home at the Connecticut shore.
