Susan started her teaching career in Thomaston in 2007. She received a B.A. in Spanish with a certificate in Latin American Studies from Dickinson College and completed a semester abroad at the Universidad Pontifícia Bolivariana in Medellín, Colombia during that time. She received her Master’s in Education from Post University in 2013.

Susan is involved with several clubs and organizations in the high school. She is the adviser for both the Sophomore class and the National Honor Society, and she is also a curriculum leader. Groups of students from the high school have accompanied Susan on trips to Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, Spain and Portugal.

A life-long Thomaston resident, Susan and her family love any outdoor activity and biking.
