Mr. Spencer Luthy

 Head Custodian

Spencer graduated from Thomaston High School in 2007. His career in the maintenance field started in 2005, when he was working seasonally for the Department of Environmental Protection. In January of 2008 he started his career with Thomaston Public Schools working at Black Rock Elementary School as a night custodian. In July of 2009 he transferred to Thomaston High School to continue his work as a night custodian. In October of 2015 he then took on the role of Head Custodian. He enjoys what he does for our school!

Spencer resides in Harwinton, Connecticut with his wife Kristen and his three sons Hunter, Nicholas and Benjamin. They own a small farm on which they grow vegetables and raise chickens and goats. He also enjoys his favorite hobby on the farm, making maple syrup! He is a very active volunteer working at the Harwinton Agricultural Society. Spencer is also a very big Patriots and RedSox fan and enjoys watching the games with his sons.
