Mrs. Terri Franzi

Social Studies

 Terri began teaching at Thomaston High School in 2014, after having served as a long-term substitute. Prior to teaching in Thomaston, Terri taught for eight years at Torrington High School and for seven years in the credit diploma program in Bristol. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in political science/public administration from Central Connecticut State University and worked at the Connecticut state capitol as a legislative aide for four years and as the legislative liaison for the CT Secretary of the State for another four years before making a career shift to teaching.

Terri earned her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. She currently teaches Global Studies, AP and general Psychology, and Civics and also advises the THS Student Council. She is a resident of Harwinton and lives with her husband, son, daughter and rescue dogs: Cali and Finnegan. In her spare time, Terri enjoys a host of activities from gardening to reading and training her dogs in nosework.
